4. Installation
The team is comprised of two groups. The electrical team commonly referred to as the "pipe and
wire" crew, install the wiring and electrical infrastructure for system communication. The second is
the hardware group who installs door and edge devices such as cameras, readers, motion sensors
and alarm components.

5. Implementation
This team is comprised of two groups, the first assembles and installs security panels, integrate them
with the computer hardware, and bring the security system on-line. The second group specializes in
servers and software. They create the user databases, provide training and field test the system.

6. Acceptance
The approval team conducts acceptance testing and system commissioning, schedules correction of
deficiencies, and obtains project sign-off.
